The invention provides a battery pack health detection method and device, and the method comprises the steps: reading battery pack self-detection data of a target vehicle when a battery pack of the target vehicle is charged and is in a battery pack health self-detection mode; judging whether the self-inspection data accords with a first preset threshold range or not; if yes, requesting a battery management system of the target vehicle to charge the battery pack according to a preset charging current scheme; after the charging process of the battery pack is finished, acquiring health data of the battery pack in the charging process; uploading the health data of the battery pack to a big data center for battery health diagnosis; and when a feedback result fed back by the big data center is received, updating the charging current scheme according to the feedback result. Therefore, the method can accurately detect the health state of the battery, is suitable for real vehicle testing, and is short in testing time and high in accuracy.
