The device comprises a lower clamping body, an upper clamping body, a connecting cover, a charging gun, a transverse push rod, a longitudinal sliding block and a longitudinal push rod, the lower clamping body is movably connected with the upper clamping body, the connecting cover is connected to the tail of the lower clamping body, the charging gun is movably clamped between the lower clamping body and the upper clamping body, and the transverse push rod is connected with the longitudinal sliding block. The transverse push rod is connected with the charging gun, the longitudinal sliding block is slidably connected with the inner side of the connecting cover, and the longitudinal push rod is connected with the longitudinal sliding block. When the device is used, the clamped charging gun is close to an automobile charging port, the longitudinal push rod pushes the longitudinal sliding block to jack up the tail of the upper clamping body, the head ends of the lower clamping body and the upper clamping body are clamped on the outer circle face of the charging port, the transverse push rod pushes the charging gun forwards to be inserted into the charging port, and on the contrary, the transverse push rod pulls the charging gun backwards to pull out the charging gun. The mechanical arm can be manually used in a time-saving and labor-saving manner, and can also be used for realizing an automatic charging robot, so that the requirements on positioning and loading of the mechanical arm are reduced.
