The invention provides a power distribution method of an electric vehicle, the electric vehicle comprises a battery, the battery provides power for a high-voltage load of the electric vehicle, and the power distribution method is characterized by comprising the following steps: an obtaining step: obtaining a state-of-charge value and discharge power of the battery; a judgment step: judging whether the charge state value is greater than a first threshold value or not and whether the discharge power is greater than a second threshold value or not; a selection step: selecting a preset distribution strategy based on the judgment result; and a distribution step: distributing the power to the high-voltage load based on the selected distribution strategy, and returning to the acquisition step. The invention further provides a control unit of the electric vehicle for implementing the method and a computer readable storage medium. The charge state value and the discharge power of the battery are comprehensively considered, the power can be distributed more reasonably, and the driving mileage of the vehicle is prolonged as much as possible.
