According to the multi-scene-oriented intelligent vehicle formation function evaluation method and device provided by the embodiment of the invention, different quantitative evaluation indexes are constructed based on three formation driving scenes, namely formation acceleration, formation deceleration and adaptive formation, so that the defects of one-sided and single index and difficulty in quantitative description of an existing evaluation method are effectively overcome; the performance advantages and disadvantages of the intelligent vehicle formation function can be accurately and quantitatively evaluated, and the method adapts to the increasingly updated and developed requirements of the intelligent vehicle formation technology and industry.
