The invention discloses a bicycle driving method and device based on a planetary gear train. A middle shaft of the device penetrates through a middle joint, and a bearing is arranged between the middle shaft and the middle joint; the inner shaft is arranged in the middle shaft, and a bearing is arranged between the inner shaft and the middle shaft; the left crank and the right crank are installed at the left end and the right end of the middle shaft through bearings respectively, a left one-way clutch is installed between the left crank and the middle shaft, a right one-way clutch is installed between the right crank and the middle shaft, and inner rings of the left one-way clutch and the right one-way clutch are fixedly connected with the middle shaft respectively. Outer rings of the left one-way clutch and the right one-way clutch are fixedly connected with the left crank and the right crank respectively; the inner hole of the steering wheel is connected with the inner shaft; the end surface of the steering wheel is connected with the right crank; the first gear, the second gear, the third gear, the fourth gear, the inner shaft and the small shaft form a planetary gear train assembly with the transmission ratio being-1. The device is simple in structure, small and flexible in size and balanced in structural stress distribution, human body gravity is driving force, and riding conforms to natural walking habits of people.
