The invention discloses an electric locomotive bogie bearing state maintenance system and method. The system comprises a sound sensor used for collecting bearing sound spectrum parameters in the locomotive operation process; the vibration sensor is used for collecting bearing vibration parameters in the locomotive operation process; the vehicle-mounted electric locomotive bogie bearing data management system collects sensor data of all bogie bearings of an electric locomotive in real time; and the enterprise electric locomotive bogie bearing data management platform is used for processing and managing data returned by the vehicle-mounted electric locomotive bogie bearing data management system and sending an instruction to the vehicle-mounted electric locomotive bogie bearing data management system. The problem that the fault of the bearing can be found only by disassembling the bearing is solved, and the workload, the overhaul period and the cost of bearing overhaul are reduced; extra damage to parts caused by disassembly in the bearing overhauling process is avoided; real-time monitoring is adopted, the bearing is accurately overhauled, and the service life value of the bearing can be exerted to the maximum extent.
