The invention discloses an auxiliary anti-collision system and method suitable for a subway train, and the system comprises a wireless communication measurement and control module which transmits a query signal through a data processing unit, converts the query signal into a periodic query analog signal through a transmitting unit, and transmits the periodic query analog signal to the periphery of a measurement and control train through a receiving and transmitting unit. Meanwhile, a signal emission moment is sent to the data processing unit, and the data processing unit records the signal emission moment; the receiving and transmitting unit is used for receiving response signals sent by trains receiving periodic query analog signals around the measurement and control train, the receiving unit converts the response signals into response digital signals, the data processing unit obtains signal receiving time and response information when the receiving and transmitting unit receives the response signals, and the distance between the two trains is calculated. When judging that the response information meets the early warning condition and the actual distance is greater than a threshold value, sending out an acousto-optic early warning signal; the acousto-optic early warning module sends out acousto-optic early warning information, and corresponding braking measures are taken.
