The invention discloses an automobile posture adjusting system and method for assisting automatic emergency braking, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining collision information, and obtaining predicted collision time based on the collision information; selecting a security policy; obtaining an ideal collision attitude based on the collision information and a security policy; an ideal motion state is achieved based on the predicted collision time and the ideal collision state. While the automatic emergency braking system conducts full-force braking, the ideal collision posture is determined according to the selected safety strategy and the actual condition of the automobile and the collision object, the automobile posture is adjusted by controlling the automobile steering system, the automobile collides with the front automobile in the safest posture, and the safety of the automobile is improved. Therefore, the function of protecting the driver and passengers in the vehicle is improved.
