The invention relates to the field of machining of high-speed rail opening and closing mechanisms, in particular to a machining method of an opening and closing mechanism and a rail vehicle. The machining method of the opening and closing mechanism comprises the steps that the size of an aluminum alloy blank is designed according to the pre-designed size of the opening and closing mechanism; the aluminum alloy blank is placed on the top face of the lower die, the upper die, the lower die and the aluminum alloy blank are jointly heated to the preset temperature, and the upper die is driven by a lifting mechanism to do reciprocating motion so that part of the aluminum alloy blank can enter the concave part of the lower die; and when the aluminum alloy blank is pressed by the bottom surface, gas is introduced into the gap through the through hole of the upper die until the aluminum alloy blank is attached to the concave arc surface. According to the machining method of the opening and closing mechanism and the rail vehicle, the problems that an existing opening and closing mechanism is mainly made of glass fiber reinforced plastic, is large in weight and pollutes the environment, and an opening and closing mechanism which is deep in cavity, regular in curvature and uniform in wall thickness cannot be machined in an existing rapid aluminum alloy molding method are solved.
