The invention relates to a charging device with a liquid nitrogen device and a use method thereof, and belongs to the technical field of battery cooling. The liquid nitrogen charging device comprises a liquid storage tank, an extension pipe connected with the liquid storage tank and a charging gun connected with the extension pipe through a plug protection pipe, the charging gun comprises a liquid nitrogen pipeline, a liquid nitrogen charging hole, the plug protection pipe, a plug telescopic button for controlling work of the plug protection pipe and a controller for controlling liquid nitrogen flow, and the liquid nitrogen pipeline is arranged in the charging gun. The liquid nitrogen pipeline is connected with the liquid storage tank through the plug protection pipe and the extension pipe, and the liquid nitrogen filling hole and the charging hole are distributed in the end face of the charging gun. The heat management efficiency is improved. When the controller responds, the heat generated by the battery pack is cooled in time by using liquid nitrogen; the required flow of the liquid nitrogen can be conveniently controlled, and the battery pack is kept to work in a normal temperature range; the device with liquid nitrogen and the charging gun are structurally integrated, the design is simple, the occupation of extra space is reduced, the cost is low, and the work of charging and thermal management is conveniently and efficiently realized.
