The invention provides a method and a system for aircraft engine fault detection, the method comprising: for each pressure parameter of a plurality of pressure parameters, determining a fault of the aircraft engine; a first air pressure signal, corresponding to the pressure parameter, of the first engine and a second air pressure signal, corresponding to the pressure parameter, of the second engine are obtained; when the difference value between the first air pressure signal and the second air pressure signal exceeds a preset threshold value, the pressure parameter is judged as an abnormal pressure parameter; determining a reference value for the abnormal pressure parameter based on the pressure parameters except the abnormal pressure parameter in the plurality of pressure parameters; determining a first difference value between the reference value and the first air pressure signal and a second difference value between the reference value and the second air pressure signal; and judging the air pressure signal corresponding to the larger one of the first difference value and the second difference value as a pressure signal fault.
