The invention relates to the technical field of target electromagnetic scattering characteristic testing, in particular to a gantry crane of a target electromagnetic scattering characteristic testing field. The gantry crane comprises a bridge, a frame, a rotating unit, a sling beam, a connecting beam and a lifting unit, the lifting unit is fixed to the frame through the rotating unit, the sling beam is fixedly connected with the rotating unit through the connecting beam, and the frame is movably fixed to the bridge. The frame can drive the rotating unit, the sling beam, the connecting beam and the lifting unit to move in the direction of the cross beam of the bridge frame, the rotating unit can drive a measured target to rotate by a required angle, and the distance between the lifting points is adjusted by adjusting the distance between the two first pulleys arranged in the sling beam. Compared with the prior art, the whole structure is simpler and more reasonable, the target test result cannot be affected, and extra hoisting weight cannot be occupied.
