The braking force control device includes a road surface state acquisition unit that acquires a road surface state, which is a state of a road surface on which the vehicle travels, and a braking force control unit that controls the braking force when the road surface state acquisition unit acquires the road surface state as a plurality of states. The braking force is controlled in a form different from the control of each braking force based on each of the plurality of states.
