A left LiDAR sensor (24) detects the state of a first left detection area (LA1) outside a vehicle using first light, and outputs first left detection information (LI1) corresponding to the state. The left camera (25) detects the state of a second left detection region (LA2) using second light, and outputs second left detection information (LI2) corresponding to the state, at least a part of the second left detection region (LA2) overlapping the first left detection region (LA1) outside the vehicle. A left light transmissive cover (22) is configured to cover the left LiDAR sensor (24) and the left camera (25) while forming a part of the outer surface of the vehicle, allowing the first light and the second light to pass therethrough. The control device (4) detects an abnormality in the left light transmissive cover (22) on the basis of the inconsistency of the first left detection information (LI1) and the second left detection information (LI2) output for a region where the first left detection region (LA1) and the second left detection region (LA2) overlap.
