Disclosed are a honeycomb core member which can be easily manufactured, and a structure using such a core member. The core member (10) has a plurality of plate members (a plurality of first plates (11) and a plurality of second plates (12)), each of which includes a comb tooth portion having a plurality of notches opening on a long side of a rectangular plate member and extending parallel to a short side of the plate member. The recesses engage with each other such that the plate members intersect with each other, and thereby a plurality of hexagonal cylindrical first cylindrical portions (13) and a plurality of triangular cylindrical second cylindrical portions (14) are formed by the plate members.
