The invention discloses a cargo containment device of a gas transport ship. The cargo containment device comprises an independent liquid tank; the first insulating layer is sprayed outside the independent liquid tank; the double-shell structure is arranged on the periphery of the independent liquid tank; the second insulating layer is arranged on an inner shell plate of the double-shell structure; the aluminum foil layer is laid on the second insulating layer; wherein the bottom of the independent liquid tank is connected with the inner shell plate of the double-shell structure through a plurality of saddle supporting pieces. Temperature isolation is effectively achieved, and the heat preservation effect is ensured.
