The invention relates to the technical field of battery heating, and provides a battery heating circuit of an electric vehicle and a control method thereof. The battery heating circuit comprises a power battery, a first switch, a second switch, a third switch, a three-phase full-bridge inverter circuit and a driving motor connected with the three-phase full-bridge inverter circuit. One end of the first switch is connected with the anode of the power battery, and the other end of the first switch is connected with the neutral point of the driving motor; one end of the second switch is connected with the positive electrode of the power battery, and the other end of the second switch is connected with an upper bridge arm of the three-phase full-bridge inverter circuit; and one end of the third switch is connected with the negative electrode of the power battery, and the other end of the third switch is connected with the lower bridge arm of the three-phase full-bridge inverter circuit. According to the battery heating circuit of the electric vehicle, the heating cost of the power battery can be reduced, and the service life of the power battery is guaranteed.
