A state determination device is provided with: a holding mechanism for holding reference information of magnetic characteristics at a predetermined position around a flange part provided to a hub unit bearing; an acquisition means for acquiring measurement information of magnetic characteristics at the predetermined position of the hub unit bearing; a derivation means for deriving the amount of change between the reference information held by the holding means and the measurement information acquired by the acquisition means; and a determination means for determining the state of the hub unit bearing on the basis of the amount of change derived by the derivation means, the predetermined position being a position at which the magnetic characteristics vary with the change in stress with respect to the flange part.
