The invention relates to a ramp confluence edge cloud management and control method for expressway mixed traffic flow. The method comprises the following steps: collecting mixed traffic flow information in an edge cloud area through a roadside infrastructure, and uploading the mixed traffic flow information to an edge cloud platform; a confluence controller in the edge cloud platform generates all vehicle confluence strategies according to the mixed traffic flow information; the confluence controller performs feasibility analysis on all confluence strategies and performs confluence strategy optimization by taking the sum of passing time losses of all vehicles as an evaluation index; and the confluence controller generates the optimal driving strategy of each vehicle according to the confluence strategy with the minimum loss and distributes the planned optimal track to the intelligent network connection vehicles in the area, and the controlled vehicles perform confluence control according to the collaborative decision result of the edge cloud. Therefore, the problem of mixed traffic flow confluence in the parallel ramp scene of the expressway is effectively solved, the optimal passing time of each vehicle and the optimal overall traffic efficiency can be comprehensively considered, and the real-time performance of the algorithm is good.
