The invention provides a CBTC tracking interval simulation method and device, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining first data of a target train and second data of a target line; based on a train control algorithm of a train automatic driving system, according to the first data and the second data, acquiring a speed-distance curve of the target train running on the target line; based on the speed-distance curve, acquiring a simulation result of a tracking interval of the target train running on the target line; wherein the first data of the target train comprises physical parameters and train control parameters of the target train; the second data of the target line comprises line parameters, line equipment data, signal parameters and operation organization parameters of the target line. According to the CBTC tracking interval simulation method and the CBTC tracking interval simulation device provided by the invention, by combining elements such as a line, a vehicle and a train control algorithm of a train automatic driving system, each calculation index element is connected in series, and tracking interval simulation closer to the actual running condition of a train can be realized.
