A kite-driven ship power generation system comprises at least one working position located on a ship; the at least one non-working position is located on the ship; a plurality of kite base stations which are movably installed around the ship; the orientation subsystem is used for moving each kite base station in the plurality of kite base stations between at least one working position and at least one non-working position; wherein each of the plurality of kite base stations is further arranged to orient its respective kite in a wind power collection and energy generation mode when located at the at least one working position, and to orient its respective kite in a kite retraction mode when located at the at least one non-working position.
