The invention discloses a box type arm support and engineering machinery. Two cover plates are arranged at intervals in the height direction of the box type arm support; the two web plate assemblies are arranged in the width direction of the box type arm support in a spaced mode and connected between the two cover plates in the height direction. Each web plate assembly comprises two web plates arranged in the width direction in a spaced mode and a limiting cushion block clamped between the two web plates. The assembly mode that the two webs are clamped through the limiting cushion block is adopted, the welding supporting mode between the shaft sleeve and the webs in the prior art is omitted, and the welding defect is avoided; the double-layer web plates are matched with the limiting cushion blocks to form a single-side box-type structure, so that the structural stability is improved, meanwhile, the situation that the dead weight is large due to the fact that a single-layer thick plate is adopted can be avoided, the light weight and high strength of the box-type cantilever crane can be achieved at the same time, and distance constraint is achieved by limiting the two web plates in the width direction of the limiting cushion blocks; therefore, the quantification of the gap between the two web plates is realized, and the assembly stability of the box type arm support is improved.

    本发明公开一种箱型臂架和工程机械,两个盖板沿箱型臂架的高度方向间隔设置;两个腹板组件沿箱型臂架的宽度方向间隔布置且沿高度方向连接于两个盖板之间,各腹板组件包括沿宽度方向间隔布置的两个腹板和卡接于两个腹板之间的限位垫块。本发明采用限位垫块卡接两个腹板的装配方式取消了现有技术中轴套和腹板之间的焊接支撑方式,避免了焊接缺陷;并且采用双层腹板配合限位垫块形成单侧箱型结构,提高了结构稳定性的同时还能避免采用单层厚板造成自重较大的情况,能同时实现箱型臂架的轻质和高强度,并通过限位垫块宽度方向限位两个腹板达到距离约束,从而实现两个腹板间的间隙定量化,提高了箱型臂架的装配稳定性。
