The invention relates to an automatic rudder changing device applied to a submersible maneuverability model test. The automatic rudder changing device is a pre-installation module and is detachably connected with a rudderstock; the rudder changing device comprises a mounting frame, a motor and a speed reducer are arranged on the mounting frame, a spindle coupling is connected to a rotating shaft of the motor, and the output end of the spindle coupling is connected with an input shaft of the speed reducer; an output shaft of the speed reducer is connected with an external rudderstock, a gap adjusting nut is connected between the coupling and the input end of the speed reducer, an angle sensor is installed on the output shaft in the speed reducer, signals measured by the angle sensor are output through a signal cable installed on the speed reducer, and a positioning hole is formed in the side wall of the speed reducer. The device is used for being connected with the tail of an external underwater vehicle. A precise speed reducer in the automatic changing device is controlled through a transmission motor, angle setting of the connected rudder body is achieved, and locking of the angle of the rudder body is achieved through the self-locking function of the precise speed reducer in the automatic changing device.
