The invention discloses an unmanned ship navigation method driven by wave energy, and the method comprises the following steps: a ship bow and a ship tail of an unmanned ship mutually rotate under the action of waves to generate angular displacement, an energy conversion system converts the angular displacement of the ship bow and the ship tail into electric energy, and the electric energy is stored in a storage battery; the ship propulsion propeller drives the unmanned ship to sail on the sea surface by utilizing electric energy stored by the storage battery, the ship bow and the ship tail are hinged along the ship width direction, the energy conversion system is connected with the storage battery through a cable, and the ship propulsion propeller is mounted at the bottom of the ship bow or the ship tail. According to the navigation method of the unmanned ship driven by the wave energy, the wave energy is used as a power source of the unmanned ship to navigate in the sea, the unmanned ship is simple in structure, low in manufacturing and maintenance cost and reliable in navigation method, and the unmanned ship based on the navigation method is long in operation time period.
