The electric vehicle intelligent key opening module PEPS is provided with a temporary key code management unit corresponding to the management system, and the temporary key code management unit remotely receives a temporary key code generated by the system; and the system grants the temporary password to the designated driver for use, limits the use time and the use distance, and cancels the password after use. The invention provides the method for increasing the charging substitute driving temporary key password for the electric vehicle, which is used for electric vehicle charging substitute driving authorization management and saves the charging time of a vehicle owner.
