The invention provides a battery changing cabinet and a battery charging method thereof, the battery changing cabinet comprises a main body frame and at least one battery compartment, the battery compartment is arranged on the main body frame, two sides of a compartment door of the battery compartment are respectively provided with an infrared transmitting tube and an infrared receiving tube, and the infrared transmitting tube and the infrared receiving tube are oppositely arranged. When the battery compartment is in an empty state, the infrared receiving tube can receive an infrared signal transmitted by the infrared transmitting tube; after a battery is placed in the battery compartment, the battery blocks a transmission path between the infrared transmitting tube and the infrared receiving tube, and the infrared receiving tube cannot receive an infrared signal transmitted by the infrared transmitting tube, so that whether the infrared receiving tube can receive the infrared signal or not can be used as a judgment basis to determine whether the battery compartment is in an empty state or not; the infrared transmitting tube and the infrared receiving tube are arranged on the side edge of the battery bin and are not affected by external water stains and silt, the use of all components can be prolonged, and the infrared tubes are low in cost and suitable for production quantification and popularization and application.

    本申请提供一种换电柜及其电池充电方法,包括主体框架和至少一个电池仓,电池仓设置在主体框架上,电池仓的仓门两侧分别设置有一个红外发射管和一个红外接收管,红外发射管和红外接收管相对设置。当电池仓处于空仓状态时,红外接收管能够接收到红外发射管所发射的红外信号;在有电池放入到电池仓中后,该电池会阻断红外发射管和红外接收管之间的传输通路,红外接收管无法接收到红外发射管所发射的红外信号,因此可以将红外接收管能否接收到红外信号作为判断依据,来确定电池仓是否处于空仓状态,红外发射管和红外接收管设置于电池仓的侧边,不会受到外部的水渍泥沙的影响,可以延长各元器件的使用,且红外管的成本低,适合生产量化和普及适用。
