The invention relates to the field of mining equipment, in particular to an overwinding protection device for a stepless rope winch, which comprises overwinding protectors and a safety component, the two overwinding protectors are respectively mounted on the ground on two sides of a track, the safety component is erected between the two overwinding protectors, and the safety component is lower than the overwinding protectors; and the over-winding protector and the safety component are electrically connected with the winch controller.
