The invention discloses a cooperative control method for self-adaptive cruise and regenerative braking of an electric vehicle. The cooperative control method comprises the steps that 1, a kinematic model of the vehicle is established, and performance indexes and constraint conditions are set; 2, solving the established target function by adopting a dynamic programming algorithm; 3, taking the solved result as the input of a regenerative braking control system; and 4, constraint of the motor and the battery is set, and distribution of braking force is achieved. According to the invention, two technical schemes of self-adaptive cruise and regenerative braking are combined, so that the self-adaptive cruise and regenerative braking reflect respective performances, and more braking energy is recovered while the intelligent electric vehicle meets the comprehensive driving performance.
