The invention relates to a novel commercial vehicle axle lower support structure which comprises a support body, an axle housing connecting structure, a suspension connecting structure and a screw connecting structure, a hollow structure is arranged on the support body, and the support body is connected with an axle housing in a welded mode through the axle housing connecting structure. According to the light-weight lower support structure additionally provided with the set screws, the set screws are used for being in threaded connection with the support body through the screw connecting structures, the axle housing is attached to the support body by screwing the set screws, and the support body is connected with the suspension through the suspension connecting structures. The casting process is good, operability is high, and the production cost can be reduced while the required load of the whole vehicle can be guaranteed.
