本发明提供一种基于液压驱动的高速动车组双向风阻制动装置及其工作方法,制动装置为整体安装于列车顶部的外置式风阻制动装置,或安装于车顶内部的内置式风阻制动装置;制动装置包括两个风阻制动单元,两个风阻制动单元上共设置有两块风阻板,每个风阻制动单元上各设置一块风阻板,两块风阻板与同一个驱动机构相连且由驱动机构驱动开启和关闭,两块风阻板制动的开启方向相反,可实现列车运行中风阻板的双向打开。本发明能够解决现有风阻制动装置存在的问题,根据列车的行进方向实现双向制动。本发明结构简单,安装方便,不依赖电力,在列车出现紧急状况或电力出现故障时,可为高速列车的紧急制动提供可靠的制动力,也用于常用制动。
