The invention provides a potential energy feedback system for a lithium battery of a crane. The potential energy feedback system comprises a lifting frequency converter, a cart frequency converter, a trolley frequency converter, a DC-DC boost converter and a lithium battery system, dC buses of the cart frequency converter and the trolley frequency converter are connected with an inversion side bus of the lifting frequency converter to form a common DC bus; a low-voltage side bus of the DC-DC boost converter is connected with a rectification side bus of the lifting frequency converter, and a high-voltage side bus of the DC-DC boost converter is connected with the common DC bus; the lithium battery system is connected with the common DC bus. The potential energy feedback system for the lithium battery of the crane can locally recover the descending potential energy based on the lithium battery at the equipment end of the crane and discharge when the crane is lifted, so that the recovery utilization rate of the descending potential energy is effectively improved.
