A rear side vehicle body structure of a vehicle includes: a side sill outer panel forming a lower portion of a side surface of a vehicle body, extending in a front-rear longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and including a bonding surface portion on a rear end portion, a rear side wall inner panel, and a first reinforcing member; the rear side wall inner plate is connected to the side beam outer plate and forms a vehicle body rear side face located on the rear portion of a rear vehicle door. And a first reinforcing member joined to the side sill outer panel and the rear side wall inner panel and configured to cover a joining portion between the side sill outer panel and the rear side wall inner panel, in which the joining surface portion protrudes rearward and is joined to a surface of the rear side wall inner panel.
