The invention relates to an intelligent new energy ship power platform system and a control method thereof. The system comprises a driver, a ship master control module, and a driving control module, a high-voltage control module, an energy power module, an energy supplement module, a steering engine module and an auxiliary power supply which are connected with the ship master control module, the driver is connected with the driving control module; the driving control module is connected with the energy power module; the energy power module and the energy supplement module are both connected with the high-voltage control module; the energy power module is used for providing energy power for the driving control module; the energy supplementing module is used for providing energy for the energy power module; and the auxiliary power supply is used for supplying power to each low-voltage module in the ship. The power platform system comprises multiple energy supply devices, flexible configuration of multiple power energy can be achieved, it can be guaranteed that energy is sufficient in the operation process of the power platform system, and therefore it is guaranteed that the endurance time of the power platform system is longer, and the application universality of the power platform system is improved.
