The invention discloses a vehicle battery replacing station and a battery replacing method, the vehicle battery replacing station is used for replacing a battery pack on a vehicle, the vehicle battery replacing station comprises a battery replacing channel, box chambers located on the two sides of the battery replacing channel, stacking machines arranged in the box chambers and a plurality of battery charging racks, and the charging rack chambers are provided with battery replacing windows facing the battery replacing channel. A visual recognition system is arranged on the battery replacing window and used for recognizing the position of a battery pack, the stacking machine comprises a rack, a walking assembly, a lifting assembly, a pallet fork assembly and a rotating assembly, the pallet fork assembly comprises a pair of telescopic pallet forks and a battery disassembling and assembling structure, the telescopic pallet forks are installed on the rotating assembly, and the battery disassembling and assembling structure is installed on the rack. The pair of telescopic forks can horizontally rotate along with the rotating assembly and can stretch out of the battery replacing window, and the deflection angle of the telescopic forks can be adjusted according to the recognized position of the battery pack. The structure of the vehicle battery swap station is simplified, the battery swap mode and the battery swap process of the battery swap equipment are optimized, and the cost is saved.
