The invention relates to a target vehicle-following distance calculation system and method, and the method comprises the steps: collecting the natural driving data of a driver when an automatic driving system is turned off, storing the vehicle speed, road curvature radius, vehicle-following average distance and other features in a stable vehicle-following scene into a memory, and enabling the feature data to be used for subsequent machine learning and training. A multi-layer perceptron is adopted to carry out modeling on the target car-following distance, and after the minimum data requirement needed by machine learning training is met, a target car-following distance model is trained; after the vehicle enters an automatic driving state, the trained model can carry out real-time calculation on the target vehicle following distance according to various kinds of input information.The method does not depend on big data classification, the driving information of the driver of the vehicle can be collected at the vehicle end so that target distance modeling closest to the driver style can be achieved, and the vehicle following distance modeling accuracy is improved. The influence of factors such as weather, road conditions and night on the car following distance can be considered, and the adaptability of the self-adaptive cruise function to a driver is effectively improved.

    本发明涉及一种目标跟车距离计算系统及计算方法,本发明采集驾驶员在自动驾驶系统关闭时的自然驾驶数据,将稳定跟车场景时的车速、道路曲率半径、跟车平均距离等特征,并将特征数据存入存储器待后续机器学习训练使用,采用多层感知器对目标跟车距离进行建模,待满足机器学习训练所需的最小数据要求后,对目标跟车距离模型进行训练;待车辆进入自动驾驶状态后,训练完成后的模型可以根据各类输入信息进行目标跟车距离的实时计算.本发明不依赖于大数据分类,可以在车端收集本车驾驶员的驾驶信息以实现最贴近驾驶员风格的目标距离建模,且可以考虑天气、路况、夜晚等因素对跟车距离的影响,有效提升自适应巡航功能对驾驶员的适应性。
