A monitoring method for preventing a top drive hanging ring from inclining forwards to collide with a monkey board or inclining backwards to collide with a top drive guide rail comprises the steps that firstly, an early warning interval and a dangerous interval of the top drive hanging ring which inclines forwards to collide with the monkey board or inclines backwards to collide with the top drive guide rail are determined; setting a critical degree angle of the top drive lifting ring which may collide with the monkey stand or the top drive guide rail from the initial angle to the forward or backward inclination; calculating the interval position and displacement speed of the top drive hanging ring relative to the derrick monkey stand according to the collected hook position signal; according to the collected top drive hanging ring suspension signal and the collected top drive hanging ring forward inclination or backward inclination signal frequency and the signal duration time, the forward inclination or backward inclination time of the top drive hanging ring is calculated; the obtained forward or backward inclination time of the top drive lifting ring is compared with the set anti-collision time, so that whether the forward or backward inclination angle of the top drive lifting ring is within a safe and controllable range or not is judged, and if the forward or backward inclination time of the top drive lifting ring exceeds the set anti-collision time, the anti-collision time of the top drive lifting ring is not within the safe and controllable range. And the traveling block is locked through the executing mechanism or a forcing signal is sent out to force the hanging ring to suspend and return.
