The automatic climbing robot for the wind driven generator tower drum comprises a control system, a detection device, a fixing main part, a hydraulic system, a clamping and fixing unit and a track driving assembly, the size of the fixing device assembly is adjusted by adjusting the opening and closing degree of a tightening device of the hydraulic system, and the robot adapts to different tower drum diameters; as an automatic climbing platform, various devices can be carried, the robot can move up and down on the tower cylinder wall of the wind driven generator through the driving device, the requirement for all-directional detection and maintenance of the cylinder wall is met, the robot works in a manner of being tightly attached to the cylinder wall, the occupied space is small, and the problem that the robot cannot work on the cylinder wall close to the blade side in traditional manual operation is solved; unmanned operation is achieved, the structure is simple, the size is small, and manual operation is facilitated.
