The invention relates to an energy storage type subway regenerative braking energy control method and system. The method comprises the steps that the actual power grid voltage of a direct-current power grid and the inductive current of a bidirectional DC/DC chopper in an absorption device are obtained; the difference between the actual power grid voltage and a preset expected power grid voltage value is obtained, and a PI controller is used for operation to obtain a dynamic inductive current preset value; the difference between the inductive current of the bidirectional DC/DC chopper and the dynamic inductive current preset value is obtained, a control signal is generated through operation of the PI controller, an IGBT in the bidirectional DC/DC chopper is controlled to be switched on and switched off, the absorption device can be accurately controlled to be switched on and switched off, and therefore stable network voltage is obtained.
