The invention discloses a battery monitoring method which comprises the following steps: acquiring the running state of a vehicle, and judging whether the running state is a silent state or not; if the running state is a silent state, monitoring a voltage value corresponding to a battery module in the vehicle every other preset period; judging whether the current period voltage value is smaller than the previous period voltage value or not; if the current period voltage value is smaller than the previous period voltage value, a battery management system of the vehicle is started, and the battery management system is used for comprehensively monitoring the battery state so as to determine whether to give an alarm prompt or not. The invention further discloses a battery monitoring device, a vehicle and a computer readable storage medium. By applying the battery monitoring method to the vehicle, the requirement of new national standard on battery thermal runaway alarm is met, the battery state can be monitored in an all-weather mode with extremely low power consumption, and feed of the vehicle is prevented.
