The invention relates to a die-cut part, in particular for permanently closing a hole, in particular in a metal sheet or in a plastic component, comprising a carrier consisting of the following components, more particularly a laminate according to a specified layer sequence: optionally at least one first layer, which is formed from a metallic layer having a thickness of 10-40 [mu] m, and optionally at least one second layer, which is formed from a metal layer having a thickness of 10-40 [mu] m; at least one second layer formed from a woven or laid glass fabric having a basis weight of 30-200 g/m2; optionally at least one third layer formed from a first pressure sensitive adhesive having a basis weight of 70-200 g/m2; at least one fourth layer formed from unexpanded, expandable graphite having a thickness of at least 0.2-3.0 mm, preferably 0.5-1.0 mm, the expandable graphite being present in the layer to an extent of at least 80% by weight; and at least one fifth layer formed from a second acrylate-based pressure-sensitive adhesive having a basis weight of 300 to 1800 g/m2, preferably 360 to 1500 g/m2, and/or a thickness of 400 to 1800 [mu] m, preferably 800 to 1500 [mu] m.
