The novel cage skip bucket for the mine vertical shaft comprises a cage body, a passenger room is arranged at the front end of the cage body, a hopper is arranged at the bottom of the cage body, a discharging opening is formed in one side of the hopper, a movable cover plate is arranged between the passenger room and the hopper, connecting columns are arranged on the two sides of the cage body, and the connecting columns are connected with the passenger room. A mounting frame located below the hopper is arranged at the lower end of the connecting column, a fan-shaped gate used for sealing the discharging port is rotationally arranged on the mounting frame, and two locking assemblies used for locking the fan-shaped gate and the hopper into a whole are arranged on the connecting column. Compared with the prior art, the device has the advantages that materials can be automatically unloaded when being lifted to a wellhead, so that the material conveying efficiency is improved, the operation modes of conveying personnel and conveying materials can be flexibly replaced by arranging the movable cover plate, convenience and rapidness are achieved, and application and popularization are facilitated.
