The electric bicycle flywheel mechanism comprises a ratchet wheel 1, a pawl 2, a pawl seat sleeve 3 and a pawl reset spring 4, the pawl 2 and the pawl reset spring 4 are installed on the pawl seat sleeve 3, an end cover 5 is arranged at one end of the pawl seat sleeve 3, and the pawl 2 comprises a pawl rotating shaft 6 and a pawl body 7. The extension shaft 8 penetrates through the end cover 5 and is in static connection with the handle 9; the outer side of the end cover 5 is further provided with a limiting protrusion 10 arranged on the handle 9. According to the technical scheme, the problems that inconvenience and potential safety hazards are brought to a rider along with rotation of the crank and the pedals when the electric bicycle advances, and the insteps of a passenger on a backseat are possibly injured due to the fact that the pedals rotate reversely along with the rotation of the pedals when the electric bicycle backs are solved.
