A rotary suspension stop (18) comprising a fixed cover (20) provided with at least one first annular upper slide rail (36) and a rigid rotary lower bearing (22) comprising an annular bearing region (46) of a suspension coil spring (12) and a first annular lower slide rail (56) so as to form together with the first annular upper slide rail (36) a first plain bearing (58), the first sliding bearing can transmit axial acting force acting on the fixed cover (20) to the lower bearing (22), and meanwhile the lower bearing (22) is kept free to rotate relative to the fixed cover (20). The annular bearing region (46) is located radially outward and axially at a distance above the first slide bearing (58).
