The present invention relates to a gasket with at least one integral electrical connector for use in an assembly, comprising: an elastomeric gasket body adapted to seal a junction between one or more assembly components and a cover; and at least one electrical connector extending through and integrally formed with the elastomeric gasket body to provide electrical power or electrical signals to at least one electrical component of the assembly.
