The underwater inspection robot comprises a shell, a driving system, a navigation control system, a diving system and an image acquisition system, a front cover and a tail cover are respectively arranged at the front end and the tail end of the shell; the graph acquisition system comprises a camera module arranged in the front cover; the driving system comprises a rotor wing arranged at the rear end of the tail cover and an advancing driving motor located in the tail cover and used for driving the rotor wing to rotate. The navigation control system comprises front elevators arranged on the two sides of the front portion of the shell, a rear elevator and a rudder arranged at the rear end of the tail cover, an elevator arranged in the tail cover and used for controlling the front elevators and the rear elevator to swing, and a steering engine used for controlling the rudder to swing. The diving system comprises a water tank located in the shell and a diving control mechanism used for controlling water to enter or be discharged out of the water tank. The inspection robot can dive to an underwater set position to inspect cracks, holes and the like of underwater buildings, and the safety of underwater structures such as dams and bridges is improved.
