According to the invention, the battery (1) has a communication module (3) for communicating with the server device (11) and for communicating with a small vehicle (18) that can be operated by means of the battery (1). In this case, the battery (1) is used as a key for starting the driving operation of the small vehicle (18). For this purpose, after receiving a corresponding authorization signal from the server device (11), the battery (1) sends a corresponding opening signal to the small vehicle.
