The invention provides a vehicle type detection method based on multi-sensor fusion, and the method comprises the following steps: collecting vehicle data through a laser radar sensor, a geomagnetic sensor and a video sensor, and obtaining a vehicle height feature, a vehicle magnetic field feature, a vehicle edge feature and a vehicle texture feature according to the vehicle data; determining a vehicle type detection model according to the vehicle height characteristics; if the vehicle height is 1.6-3 m, selecting the vehicle type detection model as a probabilistic neural network model; if the height of the vehicle is smaller than 1.6 m or larger than 3 m, the vehicle type detection model is selected as a support vector machine model; and inputting the vehicle height features, the vehicle magnetic field features, the vehicle edge features and the vehicle texture features into a vehicle type detection model, and detecting the vehicle type. According to the invention, the technical problem that the identification result is not accurate enough when a single detection means is adopted to identify the vehicle type in the prior art can be solved.
本发明提供一种基于多传感器融合的车型检测方法,包括以下步骤:分别通过激光雷达传感器、地磁传感器、视频传感器采集车辆数据,根据车辆数据获取车辆高度特征、车辆磁场特征、车辆边缘特征和车辆纹理特征;据车辆高度特征确定车型检测模型:若车辆高度为1.6‑3米,车型检测模型选为概率神经网络模型;若车辆高度小于1.6或大于3米,车型检测模型选为支持向量机模型;将车辆高度特征、车辆磁场特征、车辆边缘特征和车辆纹理特征输入到车型检测模型中,对车辆车型进行检测。本发明可以解决现有技术采用单一的检测手段对车辆车型进行识别,识别结果不够精准的技术问题。
