The acoustic-electric combined detection device comprises a glider body and an acoustic-electric sensor assembly, and the acoustic-electric sensor assembly comprises a first acoustic sensor, a second acoustic sensor, a first electric sensor and a second electric sensor, the first acoustic sensor and the second acoustic sensor are located at the head of a front fairing of the underwater glider, and the first electric sensor and the second electric sensor are located at the ends of wings. The third electric sensor and the fourth electric sensor are located at the tail of the underwater glider; the first sound sensor and the second sound sensor are both combinations of active sound sensors and passive sound sensors or are both passive sound sensors, and sound active detection and sound-electric field combined passive detection modules are integrated. The invention further discloses a corresponding detection method. The sound-electric field combined passive detection module gives full play to the advantages of long sound field detection distance, high electric field positioning precision, strong sound-electric low-frequency information correlation and the like, and solves the problems of high false alarm rate and low recognition rate of single sound detection.
