The invention discloses an electromagnetic ejection type charging system for an electric vehicle and a charging recovery method. The charging system comprises a vehicle-mounted part and a charging pile part. And the vehicle-mounted part comprises an ejection pull-back module. And the charging pile part comprises a transmission limiting module and a limiting charging module. The ejection pull-back module is used for launching the vehicle-mounted charging head to the conveying limiting module. The conveying limiting module is used for guiding the charging gun to the limiting charging module. And the limiting charging module is used for inserting the charging gun into a socket on the charging pile. The ejection pull-back module comprises a charging head, a pneumatic supporting hose, a cable and an ejection assembly. The conveying limiting module comprises a conveying magnetic tape, a conveying roller, a supporting frame and a limiting check block. The limiting charging module comprises a charging head limiting block, a telescopic air cylinder, a driving claw steering engine and a driving cylinder steering engine. According to the invention, the charging head is ejected in an electromagnetic ejection manner to be butted with the charging socket, so that the complexity of a mechanical structure and the production cost of a product are greatly reduced, and the mechanical structure is simple.
