The piston assembly comprises a piston pipe, a piston switch and a hydraulic rod, wherein one end of the piston pipe is connected with the piston switch, the hydraulic rod is arranged in the piston pipe, the hydraulic rod comprises a piston rod and a piston cap, the piston cap divides the piston pipe into an upper cavity and a lower cavity, the hydraulic rod further comprises a first open hole, a second open hole and a mechanical safety valve, the first open hole is formed in the piston cap, the second open hole is formed in the piston rod, the upper cavity and the lower cavity are communicated through the first open hole and the second open hole, the mechanical safety valve is arranged in a channel between the first open hole and the second open hole, and when a difference value between the pressure of a hydraulic area and the pressure of the lower cavity exceeds a rated value, the upper cavity and the lower cavity are communicated through the mechanical safety valve. By means of the design, the situation that when a device provided with the piston assembly exceeds the rated load bearing in use, the device continues to be used, and the structure of the device is damaged is effectively prevented.
